9.)Stickam Groups-

There has been a few groups that have been around stickam for the past two years, I'll try to specify them here without naming names or getting too specific.

1) the /b/-4Chan, bunch of losers who have nothing else to do but harass people, going in to rooms and either flooding their room with text or porn or just plain harassing the crap out of them. Most of them are either teenagers or 30 Year olds who want to have a sense of rebellion.

2)The Party Group, People here are mostly young people and middle age perverts(yes, women too) Who come to stickam to flirt and mess around. The Guys hunt the girls and the Girls tease the guys, ect.. this group is one of the biggest on stickam, which emcompass the majority of users.

a)Young males come on to hit on the Girls who show and tease, or hittingoon the gay guys.
b)Young women come on to Flirt/tease and act stupid for the attention.
c)Middle age men (30's) who some here to either hit on the young women and try to live out their fantasies over the 'nets.
d)Middle age women (30's) who cannot get into a relationship with people cause of sometype of mental problems or trying to for relationship bonds with someone on here cause they think they are out of options.
E)Men in general, all Perverts trying to abuse all women of all ages for their sexual desires, which is a lot on stickam.

3)The Haters- A group of people who think that being a part of this group will give them credibility and be rebellious. ( actually they are lame and sad) going around giving people a hard time and harassing them, posting false statements on various sites and thinking that they are above everyone else. Idiots.

4)The **** Kids- Well a group of users who have many views on their video website. They Seem to think that being in this group will give them popularity and more respect, they use their noteriety to push their cause or be more above everyone else.
In reality people only view them to see what kinda shit they have going at the time and to see what kinda drama they are gonna start. There are various sub groups here at least four that I can see. Only a hand full of them are worth anything, others are a pile of shit. They let their fame go to their head.

5)The Rejects, Yeah a group of not so well know users who are in this group which is many. However quite to the contrary that some of them are very well known and highly respected. This group is full of users who post or participate in various video communities and jsut want to hang out and relax. This grouping is one of the largest on stickam other than party group. This group has a wide age range and economic scale. They're many sub groups in here that have a following, usually based on particular freind circles. But a majority of them know each other. and have a rather tight group. Usually one user will be part of many main groups in this catagory, but often will stay in thier own little clique.

6)Weirdos, Yeah a lot. How the hell do I Describe this group? Fucked up weirdos. Best as I can describe. Stay away.

8.) Flooding
A Technique used by several groups to cause DOS(Denial of Service) attacks. When A group of people come in and over run the room with people and text thus, making it impossible to continue with the normal course of conversation. The usual course of action is shut the room down and restart it under friends only, limited the access to the members of your friends list.

7.) New Members

- Going Live for the First Few Times(for the Female Members) Please understand the settings of your Stickam Live Room. I've had many Women complain about the things that discourage them to go Live. Which I won't go into, but any of you with above average intelligence know the Raucous nature of the opposite sex when not mature enough.

1.) Visit some rooms to see how the interaction works, but Please don't judge based on the few rooms you do visit.
2.) Please select "Members Only" for the First Few times You do go live, for you to get used to the way the rooms works.
3.) Be Very Cautious with the way you handle yourself and others, until you find the right cautious state to handle the room in. The Room's "Tone and Attitude" will change with the different guests you have and your own self, So You have to be Flexible with the Room.
4.) Set Rules how to handle the room, Some people are lax, others are strict. It all varies with the people who come in. Try to set guidelines for what you decide is good for your room, what limits your willing to take an stick with it. and post it, let your guests know what your limits are and the good ones will respect it.
5.) Try to Have an open mind and don't give up on meeting new people. they're always new people coming in and a lot of interesting people you have yet to meet.

6.) Online Dating(on Stickam)
DON'T DO IT.

You think that is it huh? Well I had my Share of Problems with it, and I regret Everything that happened. It is Important that you Take your Time and talk A lot and Be Honest with the person. Because if not then you'll in a pile of shit. and You Don't Want Crazy People dogging you, trust me. Problem develop online that could cause terrible reprecussions and will give you a mess to fix(I know this too).

so My Advice other than DON'T DO IT is Take your Time and Talk a lot. and Maintain your space until it is ready to get close.

4). Going Live-
If your new you have probably experimented in going live on here(stickam), Here are some tips to help in making your broadcast experience better.

1) Use headphones, and tel all your guest to do the same, It is annoying to have echo/lag when talking and hearing your voice comeback to you several times.
2) Please turn up the volume of your microphone so We can hear you./or talk closer to it, it is difficult to understand the conversation when we are missing words that you just said.
3) Music-Since it's your room, Play whatever you want, however playing too loud will prevent an adequate conversation from happening. And be considerate when going in others room when having music play, it is annoying enough for us already in the room to lower/mute you when you come in full blast with yanni or some ghetto shit playing.
4) Set rules to your guests if necessary, if the room becomes rowdy, don't kick before warning first, unless the action done demands it, give the user a chance to calm down.

3) Baiting-

A tactic among guys to lure women in to their room, unsuspectingly and making the room private for a revealing show, quite shocking when you don't suspect it. (thankfully I'm a guy and haven't seen this!) But it happens more often than told. Please be aware of this. But to balance the scales, Women also do this too, But they seems to get a lot more guys in a room for a strip show. Haven't seen this either :( , oh well.

2) Rushing-
This seems to be quite popular among young people, groups of them would gather and rush a users site and harass them, so much so it frustrates the host to react into closing the room or doing other extreme things. Please be aware of this and make your live room members only when you first go live.

Requests from People to put shoe on your heads-

this appears to be over, but six weeks ago this happened to start up and seemed to annoy a lot of people. People from Fark.com and others seem to enter rooms, ask people to put their shoe on their head to grab a screenshot of them to post an a site. This is a new blog, set up to help new and regular users with stickam problems, that have been evident for a while. After several users complained about the actions of some members, I thought it will be best to post some tips, helpful hints and warnings to assist us in our further enjoyment of this great site.

This blog will be updated by some users, who notice problems or offer help when needed.
